Well, a catalyst is a substance that can affect another without being adversely affected itself, which fits my persona completely. For example, if I walked up to you and called you a vulgar irreprehensible name, you would be upset and it wouldn't affect me in the slightest way.

I guess it all boils down to why you make the music, for enjoyment, or for money. I can see how someone who worked very hard on a cd wouldn't want to see it being bootlegged and essentially robbed from them, but that's not gonna stop me from downloading and burning it.
