WEll i guess to start off im a 17 year old rapper from San Francisco california, surrounded by the hyphy movement which you may have heard of but thats not my genre of music. I prefer real Hip Hop music because i love the culture and i think it's one of the best things created. I'm Original i make my own beats or my homies make them for me. I never use beats that have already been used its jus not my thing. Im tryin to come up real big becasue i want to share my music with the world becasue i feel as if i give off a good influence and represent Hip Hop properly.
Why this name?
I chose my name becasue i thought of what black clouds do. They bring rain and thunder and lighting and high winds and stuff that like casue destruction so i chose black cloud to represent me becasue i want to bring that kind of energy to music but instead of raining on houses and the pavement i rain on other Emcees. (the ones who are wack). Also people have said my Afro looks like a black cloud so i also use it for that reason.
Do you play live?
I've performed a couple times at my school but due to the lack of Hip Hop appreciation there it wasn't all that well. I like performing becasue i can just let out all my energy and when the crowd is feeling me then it makes me more comfortable so i can go alll out with it.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well i think the internet gives the opportunity for a large variation of artist to communicate and get to know different types of music and styles.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
My goal with my music career is to sign with a MAjor label and become famous becasue i would really love for tons of people to appreciate what i do and at the same time get paid for doing what i love.
Your influences?
Well i can go on forever about people who influence me but just a couple names of people who influence me are Eminem, T.I, kanye, NAs, Jadakiss, Jin, Ludacris, Ice Cube, KRS-One, GangStarr, Chamillionaire, Above the Law, N.W.A, and plenty more, Basically all the real Emcess in the game. Now things that influence me are what happen in my life, violence, struggle, and determination.
Favorite spot?
Even though i don't go there often i would have to say my favorite spot is the recording studio

I use Reason 3.0 to make my beats, a M-Audio Midi keyboard, and Garage band and Logic pro to record vocals
