En 1989 en la ciudad de Nueva York, nace Jonathan Luna mejor conocido como “JLuna El Lunático”. Este joven de descendencia Dominicana lleva consigo una gran creatividad cuando se trata de música. La creación de ritmos y sonidos los cuales el clasifica como “extremadamente lunáticos”, lo distinguen del resto, creando de su trabajo algo innovador e incomparable en el mundo de la música. Mientras asistía a un día escolar cualquiera en Marble Hill School for Itn’l Studies, conoce a Miguel Ortiz. Los dos asisten a la misma escuela con un grado de diferencia, JLuna estando en su último año de secundaria y Miguel estando en su tercer año de secundaria. Al momento de haber escuchado a Miguel audicionar para el, Jonathan se sorprendido de el gran potencial, rapidez y las letras complejas pero aun profundas que Miguel posee. Se auto nombró “JLuna”, lo cual es una abreviación de su nombre propio, Jonathan Luna. JLuna se a dedicado a producir el ritmo y ciertas letras de las canciones que junto a Miguel Ortiz, el trae al Mercado. Añadiendo, JLuna también es cantante ya que canta a dueto con Miguel Ortiz. “Si quieres progresar tienes que sufrir, correr riesgos y dedicarte cien por ciento a todo lo que haces” nos dice Jonathan. Born in 1989 in New York City, Jonathan Luna well-known as JLuna; within his name holds the secret of variety of music and unique ideas when making his beats. He possesses creativity and sensibility when it comes to music. His beats which he considers “very lunatic”, distinguish his work from many, making it unique and attractive. While attending Marble Hill School for Int’l Studies, he met Miguel Ortiz. They attend the same school with the difference of a grade, Jonathan being a 12th grader and Miguel being an 11th grader. When Jonathan heard Miguel, he was captivated by his speed and fascinating lyrics, which according to Jonathan “touch the heart of whoever listens to them”. After such a discovery, JLuna accepted to join Miguel in the production of a CD which later on became their first album as a duo. The name “JLuna” derives from his very own name, Jonathan Luna; it’s an abbreviation of it. He dedicates his time to produce the beat of his songs and to contribute with the Lyrics, since Jonathan is a singer as well as Miguel, who he sings in duo with. JLuna raps from time to time but he’s main role is singing the soft and romantic parts of their songs. “In order to progress, you must suffer, take risks and dedicate 100% to what you are doing” says JLuna. Concentration is his first rule when working on any project. He hopes you enjoy his work and that you can all relate to it. Thanks to everyone who supported them and still does and dedicates time to listen to their music.

We love to do music and we want people to hear us and tell us what they think of it... we hope to get a major record deal someday... but in the meantime we need to focus on improving.
