SoundClick artist: Billy Davis - Right now I am doing fill in work with other bands and doing one man acousic shows.

Right now I'm not in a band. I'm playing single acoustic shows and doing fillin work for other bands. I am all so working on a new CD and writing new songs. I'm also interested in co writing and writing for other artists. I have about 100 original songs and more on the way. I have one song "The Lie" that is going around world playing on internet radio stations.

Do you play live?

Yes I play live, but right now I'm not in a band. I am doing fill in work for bands like the Urban Country Band in Phoenix, AZ. Right now I am doing single acoustic shows and benefits. I played for Arizona Special Olympics fundraiser for the past three years. In 2006 the band I was in went to the Colorado Bell Casino in Laughlin, NV for the first country battle of the bands. We took first place and the People's Choice Award. In 2009 I got the chance to play at Country Thunder in Florence, AZ with Davis Highway.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It has made it easier for unsigned artists to get there music out to the people.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes I would, That is what I'm working towards.

Your influences?

Traditional Country and 70's and 80's rock and metal.
