solo project born in 1997.

written, performed, and recorded at home.

done for recreation and passion, no professional aspirations.

the music has been described as, "dark, yearning, edgy, intense."
Why this name?
a friend suggested it many years ago. there's a larger meaning behind it, but i don't often bother to explain.
Do you play live?
it's a solo project that exists solely in my basement. well, and digitally.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
people besides my friends can now hear my music. i don't know that it changes the industry exactly, but it certainly allows music nazis such as myself to more easily satisfy their appetite for new, original music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
only if they'd pay me to sit in my basement and crank out cds, which they wouldn't.
Band History:
classically trained on piano from age 6-15. violin lessons for my 2 junior high years. self-taught on drums since i was 16. guitar came along 3 years later and ever since. bass followed naturally. i guess i started singing when i was 5 or something like that...my music today is simply...what it is.
Your influences?
meshuggah, opeth, helmet, king crimson, yes (bruford era), genesis (gabriel era), gojira, jawbox, mastodon, coprofago, radiohead, tool, mahavishnu orchestra, intronaut, the ocean, and many many more.
Favorite spot?
in the basement. i'm a hermit i guess.
