I am the lead guitarist for an up and coming band based in Salt Lake City. Our music is on the harder side of mainstream with divergences in both directions (some softer, some harder songs). We are financially backed and have an amazing group of musicians and songwriters. We have considered and/or auditioned over 80 vocalists to date. We seek that special singer that has the power, edge and look to front a national act. If the prospect of relocation is even remotely possible and you think you truly have what it takes to be a rock star (great pitch, powerful voice, rock edge, grit, hot looks, stage presence, etc.), then please respond and we will provide you with a formal audition packet and copies of our music. Why this name?
Our band name is not set yet. We go by the moniker of Nothing Yet because we find it amusing :) or The Band Currently Known as rapture.
Do you play live?
We played a few gigs last summer. We are auditioning lead vocalists right now.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It has changed it dramatically. For good and for not so good. It will be a few years before the indistry can make it effective for the artists AND the lsiteners.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes.
Band History:
We are a rock band from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, formed in 2006. The band is comprised of Shawn Josephson (drums, backing vocals), Roger Knox (bass guitar, lead & backing vocals), Karl Cannon (rhythm guitar, keyboards, backing vocals) and Franz Hoff (lead and rhythm guitar, backing vocals), and "YOUR NAME HERE" (lead vocals)

We have a fully equiped recording and rehearsal studio with 18 guitars, 6 basses, 2 drum sets (one at the studio), amps and lots of other toys to make music with :)
