Just me and my banjo...writing and singing about how things used to be long ago in the 30;s and 40's and how those experiences affect today. I started out wanting to get on record these stories and songs for my grandchildren; but after doing it for a while, others have expresses interest so we are recording and putting them out there.
Why this name?
Lake Fork Township is where my ancestors homesteaded in 1820 and where it all began
Do you play live?
So far only record at home.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Allows new talent a way to get recognized, thru more exposure.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Too old to cut the mustard

Lefty Frizzell, John Hartford, John Prine, Jason Skinner, Patrick Costello, Will Keys, Carl Smith, Luann Turner, Jim Moak (banjo)
Favorite spot?
St Louis County, Valley Park area where we are now.
Equipment used:
Deering Sierra banjo, and old Oscar Schmidt OB-5 for knocking around in tough, tight places
Record using Audacity with $20 mike from Radio Shack. (I know sounds like it too)
