Ancient Dreams is a band composed by 4 members from the same familly : 2 brothers are the bass player Yosef Akil, and the guitarist Hassan Akil, and the cousins brothers Mehdi Akil the Drummer, and Yones Akil The Vocals...
the band was Created in winter of the year 2001 under the name of Ancient Dreams, by Yosef & Yones, with the intention of create music that would be the perfect union among its different influences : Melodic and technical blackmetal, Darkblack metal & Deathblack... metal !

Why this name?
The Name of the band turns us back to the Old depressing and sad days of the former members, and their unreleased dreams, that from time to time get older and older...those dreams of the ordinary life standard, the dreams of freedom and bliss...the awaiting for the new dawn, for the awareness of poeple around, for a honest world...
Do you play live?
Ancient Dreams has been already in 4 concerts, but being on the stage idea was 'till the year 2004, because the band prefered to Keep their records underground, and not havin even a demo of their releases !!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
well, dunno...it depends..internet doesn't force us to change our styles, and more there's fans of industry the more poeple will change their styles, because the commercial reasons...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, we have a Demo ready to be released by a Label...and yes we need a label !
