My name is Jaymes Murphy, my friends at home call be Thiel (pronounced "Till"), which is my middle name. I'm an aspiring beatmaker, and eventually I want to become a full-fledged producer and form my own production company to work with other artists, producers and songwriters.
Why this name?
Gold Child is a play on the "Golden Child" movie made by Eddie Murphy. I chose it because the name seems to get people's attention.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's made music and the way audiences get access to it more popular than ever
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the situation presents itself, I'd look into it.
