Bringin the fresh hip-hop back. Sample-based producer from Mackramento, California.
Why this name?
Got the idea from a resinated pipe, but I put the musical twist on it so it sounds like resonate as in a string on a string instrument resonating.
Do you play live?
Eventually. In the future I plan to play real drums on stage while the track that I produced is being performed.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Makes it too easy. Everyone and their mom has FL studio and everyone and there mom can bang out them "2 finger" melodies that you hear on the radio. So it's even harder for the actual dope cats to be heard when everyone and their mom is a producer.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes I would. You look at Common and Kanye West and they are still doing there thang and maintaining the hip-hop and there signed to a major label.
