Probably not, but it depends on their offer.

Ok basically I went from
Drums --> Bass --> Guitar.

I am completely self-taught. Well 99%.
All I have ever used to teach me is a chord book.
I do not do covers, I only play my own songs.
100% original, if you will.
Anyway, I have been in a few bands with my musically talented friends. However they were not very talented in turning up to band practice! I quit because I find that everyone is unreliable.
Now I sing about almost anything. However only about 1/5 of my songs will ever be released; most are very personal =]
You may think this is sad, but I play music for the love of playing music - my OWN music, not copying other peoples music, showing it off and getting credit for it ¬__¬
If you don't like it, then don't listen to it!

The acoustic sound is orgasmic.
I also own a Vintage® Metal Axxe Active Wraith Bass which I seldom use.
