My personal music project with some input from Hardwired.
The excession sound is still developing. Rather than wait until I am satisfied, I want to get some material onto the 'net.
Ultimately, excession will be nasty industrial with an experimental edge.

Why this name?
After the novel of course. The idea of something being outside of any recognised context and thus difficult to comprehend is an appealing concept.
Do you play live?
No. Unfortunately. Never say never but I cannot see it happening.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It will ultimately destroy the major labels as their business models fail. The fallout will also cause bands a lot of pain. An exciting or difficult time, depending on your perspective.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. The old ways are as good as dead. The new labels will be those that adopt new business practise - this will not involve 'record deals' in the way we have understood them.
Band History:
Hardwired and myself. In a band years ago. Some time passes, I get back into making a noise. There is no more to tell.

Decree. Velvet Acid Christ. Kill Switch Klick. FLA. Sielwolf. Skin Chamber/Controlled Bleeding. Hocico.
Favorite spot?
The Isle of Skye
