Aurei (pronounced "Or-Ray") is the architect of Acid Muse Art Gallery and Music Production, as well as an aspiring computer animator and musical minimalist.

Aurei is one of the most versatile female DJ?s in the Northwest. She's been rockin' the club and underground scene for over 8 years She is Indiscriminate of genre's, and is consistantly exploring new sounds. Her dj sets would often be described as tech minimalism infused with pop & drop style breaks, but ventures far beyond any set style.
She is a collector of Drum & Bass, Breakbeats, Dubstep, Breakcore, 2-Step, Electro, House, Minimal Techno, and yes even Goa & Psy-Trance. Aurei interviewed for BPM Magazine in 2005 , and performed for a Midwest Radio Show: "Bomb That Bass" several times throughout 2003 - 2005.

She?s gained worldwide recognition for her progressive breakbeat remix of Rocktronik?s ?Things You Do? on PeakHourMusic.com, and her Electro Remix of SD Project's "Such A Feeling" on PeakHourMusic.com. She has also created a free-flowing minimal breakbeat remix of Bitstream Dreams ?Khronoa?, and is currently collaborating with local dubstep and drum & bass producers for multiple projects set to release in late 2010.

She has held many residencies in Portland's top local clubs & graced the decks regularly with some of the finest performers in the industry, including Tipper, Freq Nasty, Mortal Grey, Noah D, Kem, Suff-X, Simply Jeff, The Freestylers, Quadrant, Phuture Primitive, Rabbit In the Moon, DJ Czech, DJ Dara, Chris Carter, A-Sides, Dom & Roland, Bassnectar, Juju, Reid Speed, Zacharia, Rob Noble, Joey Mazzola, Wyatt Earp, Jeno, Garth, Rebecca Watkins, Sandra Collins, D:Fuse, DJ Craze, DJ Eva, and more.
