Sacrifice

My name's Rocco a.k.a. Roccafella, I'm 19, half italian and half portuguese. I been workin' on my music for a few years now, I'd say about 5 years now, professionally. Got 2 mixtapes out, And just to keep you all updated, I've already started on a new project... What I'm REALLY workin' on at the moment, which I estimate should be done completely within a years lenght, my First Official Album =D!!! Haven't decided the name yet, but I'm workin on it, Keep Posted, peace ;)!

Why this name?

Tha name was given at birth.. Rocco. I didn't choose it, I just abuse it. And as for Roccafella, its just a nick name ppl gimme so I use it for the f*** of it!

Do you play live?

I've performed at many shows, few clubs, many halls, they were all great experiences and every show gets better.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

I think its a good way to get your name out. Actually I rather say the 'fastest' way, lol.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Major, Yes... Minor, No.

Band History:

I remember when I was about 12, I was watchin BET n I see Lil Bow Wow n Lil Romeo ballin' it out on T.V. ... N I said to my self, if dey can do it, why can't I? lol Then the first time I ever tried making a track, was in my boy's basement...We were like 5 guys on a track, straight dissin' a girl...So sad, haha but great memories! And from there, thats when I decided this is really what I wanted to do, so out of the whole click, I put my mind to it, and I spoke everything I had bundled up in my mind.

Your influences?

I hate to say it cause everybody uses his name when it comes to inspiration or influence..Tupac Shakur. It's not the cussin' and the swearin' that caught my attention.. Tupac was a poet and you could tell he wrote all his sh*** cause his lyrics came straight from his heart, what he felt, what he experienced, everything! But there are many other artist out there who I use to look up to such as: Fabolous, Lloyd Banks, Akon, Justin Timberlake, Lil' Wayne etc.

Favorite spot?

When it comes to 'Summer'? MONTREAL CITY BABY! Tha winter can get kinda ugly, so if i got the $$$, I try to get as far away as possible lol.
