Basically I'm a jazz pianist although my first introduction to professional music was in a Rock Band in the late 50's. I know record under the name of "3's A Crowd" and sometime under my own name. 3's A Crowd started as a studio project group in 1996 to record trio style jazz. Things have certainly escalated since then.
Why this name?
I record under the name 3's A Crowd. The name came about as kind of a joke when someone suggested that I use a couple of more musicians for some tracks I was producing. My reply was "3's A Crowd" in here (referring to the size of my 1st tiny studio) much less a couple more bodies.
Do you play live?
On Occasion. Mostly studio gig's though.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Hmmm! I think I'll leave that one alone for now.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
For the right "fair and equitable" deal.
