Welcome to the movement...Connectikonz is a movement. I believe that as artist in Connecticut we are not taken seriously. Connectikonz goal, to kick down the doors of the industry and shove CT in their grills!!! Hear This...
Why this name?
It was given to us by a mentor of ours who believe in what we feel is going wrong with the industry. We feel in the music industry we were being treated as ex cons because we are from CT. No one takes us serious.
Do you play live?
We've done live shows in Ansonia, and also New Haven; Jackie's Blues Cafe. I love to perform. The energy that you exude from the crowd makes me shake. It's wild!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Your music travels without limits. Point blank!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would, who wouldnt. That's the reason why im here. To be huge. To have to world hear me and know what's goes on in my mind about certain aspects of life to me.
Band History:
We were formed in 2004. Dropped our first album Connectikonz Presents Life in the Fastlane in 2005. Currently separated but working on individual projects because of differences.
Your influences?
Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Biggie, Tupac, JayZ, Rakim, EPMD, Busta Rhymes, the list can go on! I love them all.
Favorite spot?
The Bronx...Born and raised.
