Hey! You just stumbled onto the greatest rock guitarist you never heard of. Just playing :-) So, some tidbits about me: started playing at 13 (about 20 years now), first band and gigging at 16, got mixed up in progressive rock and "guitar god" idols and never turned back!

All tracks here (unless otherwise noted) are composed, recorded, and performed (all instruments) by yours truly. Yes, I want the medal and the monument. :-)
Why this name?
On the day of my birth, a deep, boring voice pronounced, "Thee shall be henceforth know as Brandon Richie". Good thing I was a boy.
Do you play live?
Before moving to MA, I was in a band, Evil Genius, who played out a few times a week in Pittsburgh PA. I LOVED it! Every second of it! WAY too many special moments to list.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
For starters, a now basement rocker like myself would have never had the opportunity to get my tunes out. If I make just 1 person go "hey, I dig that", to a random track from a dude in Milford MA, then I think the music industry has changed for the good.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the deal was right, absolutely. But I wouldn't sell my soul for it.
Band History:
Joined "Drama" when I was 16, had line up change, became "Evil Genius", now defunct. I became a "hired gun" for some studio sessions, and faculty performances for my ex-drummer turned professional percussionist, and college instructor. Write and record in my very modest home studio.
Your influences?
Love the guitar gods, Joe Satriani (Satch), Eddie Van Halen, Eric Johnson, Nuno Bettencourt, Dream Theater (Petrucci), Porcupine Tree, Rush...Progressive Rock and odd time signatures, or rockin solos from any genre.
Favorite spot?
Boston MA, but I love all beaches and white sand!
Equipment used:
Ibanez, ESP, and Alvarez-Yari guitars, Line 6 and Marshall Amps, a jar of peanut butter, a flat head screwdriver, Alesis and Cubase junk, several dark beers, Audacity, a plethora of boxes and random effects, a few monkeys, several neat scotches, a coffee maker, my neighbor's pool filter, and a secret weapon (little green box that is NOT a Tube Screamer).
Anything else...?
I welcome any and all feedback, and I am grateful that you just give it a listen. I'm not looking for praise or anything, just a "I heard your track, and I think...". Just thanks for checking it out!
