Why this name?
"Focus" has always been giving to me by my peers saying I can get distracted with everything in this world BUT music. When it comes to my music I stay focused every single millli-second I'm provided. As far as iNFINITE Productionz, I chose that cause I never just lay down 1 track a day. You see me putting out at least 10 to 15 bangers a night, till the point it feels this music thing is everlasting.
Do you play live?
Well yeh, I've been on a few beat battles out in N.Y. Marjority of my music is quickly progressing and spreading to good listeners out there in the rap game. I'm a big fan of underground, so when I'm out showing my work, I normally go to a Cafe' or Poetry Lounge where it's easier to get the correct vibe I'm looking for.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet as we all know is very influential you know. We got new artists who live in suburbs and are around a crowd who normally wouldn't listen to hip-hop. The internet place a huge role for those artists who are trying to be heard all around the world, giving them more lee-way to putting out new tracks on a daily basis.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends on the offer.
Your influences?
The Alchemist, Kanye West, Dr. Dre, Pete Rock, GZA, Jay Z, Damon Dash, FRENYC Ent., Dead Prez. Basically real music man, I could be here all day naming every single person, but I feel I get my touch off of every single person I listen to. It could be as broad from Wu-tang all the way to Tangerine Dream or George Winston. I'm a fan of good music.
Favorite spot?
New York City
