-I (WWJ) used to work in a retail store that had code words to use over the intercom called "Carolines" Each color meant a different emergency. "CAROLINE BLUE" meant medical emergency and that's when I 1st heard the term. I picked the name cause I liked the sound of it and I believed that it was a name that didn't pidgeon-hole us into a certain style of music.

Yes-we do play live. Currently, we primarily play in the Central NY region with occassional shows outside of that. We are looking to expand our show radius to the Tri-State area and beyond. Want us to play in your area? Let us know!

Possibly. Distribution & Tour Support are still major pluses to being w/ a major label. It would depend on the the contract that they offered-which, of course, we would review w/ a music attorney......

CAROLINE BLUE started out as the brainchild of Wayne W. Johnson (WWJ) back in 2000. The band hit the club circuit thruout Upstate NY and began to make a name for themselves in that area. The band has filmed several music videos courtesey of UVTV (Underground Video Television). Plagued by lineup changes, it wasn't until 2005 that the band released it's "Slave to the Hourglass" CD. With several positive reviews both domestic & international, the CD is currently being distributed by Hellion Records in Germany. In Spring of 2006, the band started to record their next CD entitled "Not For the Innocent"-which is expected to be out by mid-late summer 2007.
