Nightfall
I'm an electronic artist, and my style is mostly ambient / video game music, although most people would describe it as a type of avant-garde tribal-synth.
I've been writing music for a few years, and playing drums since about 1997.
I attended Berklee college of music for two years, but until Sept this year, i'll be down here in FL studying recording arts at Full Sail, and then hopefully moving to the NY area.

Why this name?
My first project was titled "Mastermind Instrumental Magic" but I don't feel the name suits my style anymore, and I've decided to just rename it Daniel Bouley.
Band History:
I stated recording instrumental music with drums and keyboards with Cakewalk Home Studio back in 2003, and have since moved on to working with Logic, Reason and Pro Tools. I recorded my first demo album in the first half of 2006, and have been writing since then, working on random things and (sort've) making a new album, that prob won't be done for a long time.
Your influences?
In terms of writing, my influences are Mark Isham, Patrick O'Hearn, and Ed Van Fleet. I'm a big symphonic and prog metal fan, but if that influences my writing style in any way, it's minimal. Vangelis, Deep Forest, and Enya are also similar to my style, and are artists I enjoy. My music would prob fit well as a soundtrack to an abstract anime picture or video game.
Favorite spot?
I lived in Boston for two years, where my writing really took off, but since have moved to Orlando Florida for school.
Equipment used:
I run Logic Pro 7, Reason 3, and Pro Tools LE 7.3 on a Powerbook G4, using KRK Rokit 5's as monitors.. and a $200 casio keyboard as my midi controller...
