I made a lot of very varied popsongs in the pre-digital age.
I say they're McCartneyish, as I don't know how to categorize them. Allsorts.
The description I use is RETRO
I'm really a songwriter who wants others to perform these songs. So please bear that in mind as you grimace at my efforts to be acceptable. I'm especially concerned to write good lyrics, and if you do ever give some time to my stuff, I hope you will click on the lyrics link and read those also. They don't come easy, you know.
I'm plonking my songs here to give them a home, in the hope you might think they're not too bad. In fact, in the hope that you'll snap them up and I'll become an instant overnight megastar multi-millionaire.
But failing that, I hope that you just like them. And if you do like one - I'd especially like it if you told me so. We all need strokes, eh ? see that link there ? the one that says send email ? ......

it gives everyone a chance to be heard --- and then forgotten. you're reading this now. soon you will have forgotten me. I can only hope that if you do like varied songs you will explore me a little more and not just dismiss everything with one listen.
I suppose that's the real danger of the internet. there is so, so much now freely available, that it's tempting not to stop and linger and think - 'you know, that person put rather a lot into that song - I hear that now I'm listening properly a second time'.
