Apartment 5 is a four piece band composed of Max, Joel, JD and Nick. We play a mix of Rock, Indie, Pop and many other genres that can appeal to almost any audience member. We recently went to Austin TX to record a Demo at Arlyn Studios so check it out.
Why this name?
We used to practice in a set of apartments, can you guess which one?
Do you play live?
We love to play live anywhere we can. Some of these places include the Greek theatre, the Music Hall, The College Inn, JR's lightbulb club, and the Perk. Any moment that can make someone in the audience laugh, cry or feel any emotion is special to us.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has made it easier to get your music out to people and promote for shows. We can promote shows in other regions just by using the internet and people can hear our music in China and whatnot.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
We would love to sign a record contract.

Your influences?
Some artists we like include Incubus, The Strokes, Ben Kweller, Oasis, Outkast, Radiohead, Mute Math, What Made Milwaukee Famous, Led Zeppelin, Beck, Ben Harper, Foo Fighters, G. Love, Gorillaz, Prince, Fall of Troy, and the Roots.
Favorite spot?
Onstage in any city
Equipment used:
Fender, Mesa Boogie, and Ampeg amps - Fender and PRS guitars - Mapex drums - Zildjian cymbals - and plenty o' pedals.
