Born in 1975 HappyMartinos learned to appreciate popular music through his father who owned a record store. In the beginning of the 80s DJs were searching for a new sound it led them to experimenting mixing with all kinds of different styles ranging from soul, hiphop, disco, dance and popmusic. This broad range of styles and the freedom of mixing them sparked HappyMartinos his interest in house-music.
