Why this name?
The sound of the word "Sploosh" makes me think about something deep. I try to fathom the depths of music but only skim the surface. The name reflects a feeling that I want from my music, I want it to be deep, refreshing, fluid, and fun.
Do you play live?
I've never played a solo gig live, but I've played numerous times with death metal outfit "Figure of Hate".
I love to play live, it's such a great experience having people come to hear your music. Plenty of good people at gigs too.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I guess the obvious answer is that it allows artists to spread their music all over the world with ease which is, of course, a great thing, but at the same time, people can get hold of your music without paying for it, so sales are diminished, which is never good. But if someone can get themselves known through the internet and get a big enough fan base without making profit from recordings, they can always be sure that their gigs will earn them their money.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends what kind of deal I'd be getting and what the label was like. If they were a very hospitable major label and there were many benefits to be expected, I wouldn't say no.
Band History:
Born in Hereford, England in 1989. I've lived in Hereford all my life and have many great friends here. I started to get into music in my first year of high school as I had many musical friends there, and played in a small Hard Rock band.
After a few years in that band we split up and the next day I joined "Figure of Hate", a Death Metal band. I'm still in this band and we're working on our new EP, but I'm expressing myself slightly differently through my personal music.

Your influences?
Andy Mckee, Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson, Bob Marley, Black Sabbath, Bach, MIC(the acoustic album really inspired me to play when I was small)
Favorite spot?
My favourite place has to be the lake in the middle of the forest near where I live. It's so alive there and yet the lake is so tranquill. It's perfect in the summer and makes me feel refreshed.
Equipment used:
Brunswick acoustic atm. As soon as I can afford a decent acoustic that Brunswick is straight out.
