Why this name?
I combined the two words 'Analog' and 'Rhythm'. Then I added a MIC at the end because I rhyme too. It's pretty self-explanatory.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think eventually it will make artists step their game up. If anyone can make music or download anything they want, why buy a CD? The consumer will only buy the CD if the entire CD has good music...on every song. If it doesn't reach that standard the consumer, as I, will just download the songs he or she wants.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably. But only after i've sold enough to have industry worth.
Your influences?
I pretty much have been influenced by all music. Every time I hear a car go by playing music, I pause and listen. Every time, i'm watching TV and hear something, I listen. As far as artists, I would have to say Ayatollah, Kanye West, J. Rawls, Madlib. And of course emcees Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Erykah Badu, Canibus, Res, Common, Dead Prez, etc. You get my drift.
Anything else...?
