I fell in love with singing and song writing when I was still a little girl. I can honestly say that music was my cure for all the adversities in life and I truly live, breathe and enjoy music.

Why this name?
My mom gave me the name "Kristine" because I was born on Christmas day. Santiago is my real last name.
There is another "Kristine Santiago" in Angeles City and we are not the same person. She's a beauty queen, I'm a musician, but we're both pretty.

Do you play live?
Philippines (apparently). I love it here. Most people think our country is very 3rd world, but I beg to differ. I can't imagine living anywhere else.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is very powerful, it transcends time, place and boundaries and is a good place to start for independent artists like me.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, ofcourse. Although I would also prefer just being a song writer

25 year-old Kristine Santiago, writes, performs and arranges her own songs. Much like her personality, her music is a mixture of several genres.
She has been singing since she can talk and has been writing songs since sixth grade. She is married to Erwin Pattaui.
Kristine Santiago started writing songs when she was only 11 years old. The first song she composed was entitled "Moments". It's a powerful ballad.
Kristine is also trained in classical music and started learning to play the piano when she was only 5 years old.

Favorite spot?
Our house. That's where I get the chance to relax and write some music.
