Band History:
Born in the inner city of Washington, D.C., it was clear at an early age that Gospel Artist Ron J. Brown was destined to be a minstrel of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Ever since the age of eight Ron J. Brown’s musical and vocal gifts began to be developed which afforded him many opportunities to perform musically with formal training in voice and bass guitar.
Ron J. Brown truly desires to connect with the appropriate professionals such as: management, record labels (A&R Reps), media contacts, booking agents, etc; in order to build effective working relationships. Currently! Ron J. Brown is working on recording his debut CD, which is due to be released this year.
At the age of 15, Ron J. Brown joined The Silvertone Gospel Singers of Kensington, Maryland and performed in various states along the east coast. In 1995, Ron sang one of his first original compositions at a talent showcase at Howard University’s Blackburn Center hosted by Howard University, where he had the whole place on their feet in standing ovation. After a stunning performance and being one of the winners of the talent showcase at Howard, Ron was sent to be a contestant at the famous Apollo Theater. In 1997, Ron J. Brown was a praise and worship leader as well as youth leader for a music ministry out of Rock Church International of Virginia Beach, Virginia called “One Tribe”.
In 1998 Ron J. Brown was called on by church leaders to minister in song, before some 5,000 attendees as he opened for Gospel Hall of Fame Artist- Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ. Since that time Ron J. Brown has shared the stage and platform with notable ministries such as: Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ, Joyce Meyers, Wellington Boone and Pastor Benny Hinn. Ron states, “I am in awe at being given the opportunity to give God glory and to be used to not only touch lives but to also be used by the Holy Spirit of the Lord to transform lives that are hurting and to encourage those who feel that there is no way out of the issues of life that we all face every day. - Ron J. As a songwriter, arranger, and producer, Ron J. Brown earned opportunities in working with various artists in: musical, dramatic, live performance and studio projects.
Ron J. Brown is currently in production to record his debut CD “Godality”, which is to be released in the summer of 2007.

Your influences?
I have been a musician ever since I was about nine (9) years old. Bass guitar, bass viol, cello, keyboards, vocals. I used to be in a few Go-Go bands and then I became an R&B Solo Artist and finally I am a Gospel artist for the Lord!
