I am Pixel Rider. I have eclectic tastes in music, and therefore my music will change depending on my mood for the day. You never know how hard or light my songs are gonna be (neither do I for that matter).

Why this name?
To be honest, it was my screen name in a game I used to play all the time. I liked it, so I kept it.
Do you play live?
No live gigs yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I would never have started creating music of my own if I hadn't found all the communities and artists on the internet.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
NO..........
Band History:
Pixel Rider, and PRM Productions was started in 2003 with the goal of writing and producing music. Plane and simple. I will work with other aspiring musicians in any way I can, from initial brain storming for an idea to final production processing.
Your influences?
My main influence is my emotions. After that would be all the artists I have worked with, either those that have supplied me with some of the great loops they have created, or the ones who give me a great idea for a track. I would have to say that I am really influenced by everything.
Favorite spot?
Gotta say that my favorite place is Pawleys Island, South Carolina. There is a beach on the south end of the island where the tides are SOOOO dynamic, and the sand is pure white. I can always find something that inspires me.
Equipment used:
I produce a few songs as Pixel Rider per year with little more than my computer and some loops and samples I have acquired. My software of choice is Sony ACID Pro 6 and Sound Forge 8 for music production, and Vegas for video production.
Anything else...?
I haven't made much music lately, but I hope that being here will get me in the mood to write some more.
