NAPPY's Bio. I am a former Florida native, I moved to the Chicago area about a year and a half ago. I played music in church and was in several bands and performance groups as a child. I’m definitely not new to the music game. I was awarded a scholarship to Grambling State in 98' to perform in the World Famous Tiger Marching Band. We traveled the U.S. from Seattle to New Jersey and all in between. I’ve produced and written for local but very talented artists around the Jacksonville area. One of my rap groups “Da Fraternity” opened for Lil’ Scrappy at Club Kartouche in Jacksonville. I am currently working with a Chicago based underground artist on a mix tape due out later this spring. My catch phrase is “I Got Them Beats! “, which I do but I don’t just do beats, I compose musical ideas that are emotionally driven and heart felt. Music is who I am.
