Anything else...?
While the music is difficult to classify, Imphenzia reaches a worldwide audience with the mixture of trance, club and goa influenced music. Despite the vast number of electronic artists of today, the sound of Imphenzia carries unique characteristics that daily attract more listeners. Mainly releasing his music on the Internet has enabled tens of thousands of listeners from around the world to enjoy the hypnotic moods created in his compositions.
Stefan was born in Haninge a few miles south of Stockholm, Sweden in the year 1975. By making short segments of music for multimedia presentations in the early 1990s his interest quickly grew and full-length electronic tracks started to take shape. Being nothing more than a spare time hobby, the hardware set up was very limited and tracks were produced using nothing more than a computer and a piece of software called "Fast Tracker". During the first years the tracks were made in a project named "Elite Beat", and most of the completed tracks remain unreleased yet today.
It wasn't until 1997 that Imphenzia emerged, replacing the previous Elite Beat project. Tracks were released on the Internet and as the public showed much interest in the music, Stefan focused more resources and time, aiming to further progress as a musician and artist. The first independent album named "Sector" was released in the summer of 1999. Apart from being sold on and off the Internet, Sector also acted as the first demo CD. Shortly after the release of Sector, Stefan moved from Sweden to live in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
The following year Imphenzia released another album, "Propulsion", which raised the interest of numerous magazines, radio stations and on-line music web sites. Tracks included on the Propulsion album earned great reviews in magazines such as Computer Music, and also rocketed Imphenzia to a #2 position in the trance charts on the influential European music site "peoplesound.com".
The music can appropriately be described as lavishly filtered layers of euphoric pads, samples and effects with a deep genuine beat. While the majority of earlier releases were heavily genre focused and purely instrumental - new elements are being introduced as Imphenzia progresses. Also, the voice of another quickly emerging Internet artist Nicky F. can be heard in vocal performances in several of the later releases. Nicky will continue to work closely with Imphenzia bringing the music to life with vocals.
The third (double disc) album, Event Horizon, was released in October 2002 and the fourth album Illusion was released in early 2008.
Today, Imphenzia is drawing more listeners by the day and the milestone of a first record release through an established label is within reach. Apart from releasing tracks on the Internet and other media, Imphenzia is also preparing a live act for public performances.

Enjoyable track. Interesting melody, nice sound. The only thing that can be improved its a basic beat as well as its sounds - more punchy kick and rubber bass, better hihat and few beat instruments on background

New Melodic Trance by Imphenzia - Angelic piano, rythmic beat, atmospheric pads and analogue morphs - FREE DOWNLOAD!
This is a free piano only version of Duplicate My Soul. The track was recorded using the East West Quantum Leap Steinway D Gold Piano with lid set fully open and Piano Hall 1 ambience. Master keyboard used to record the piano version was a Roland FP7
Very energetic and melodic uplifting trance track featuring a dramatic and emotional intro followed by a solid bass filled beat with detuned leads and eupohoric piano melodies.
Slowed down tranquil 110 BPM edit of Duplicate My Soul.
Very energetic and melodic track with incredible atmosphere featuring two styles of beats.
Fast paced melodic and energetic trance featuring a slowly progressing DJ-intro and an explosive core with twisted melodies and morphing digital sounds.
Slow and soothing 110 BPM crystallized version of Liquid Generator. This track lifts out the melodies and morphing trance gates into a soft chillout track.
Extended version of the popular track Evolution - now 6.40 long and with an alternative sound.
A new progressive and powerful trance track with a melodic central core. This track features DJ-friendly intro and outro with explosive euphoric melody following the build up.
This is the extended edit of Duplicate My Soul. It features 7 minutes and 30 seconds of pounding trance without break downs keeping a steady flow.
Legacy is a melodic trance track with euphoric piano, classic gated strings and a catchy melody.
Chilled out sunset mix of Legacy. If you liked the chillout version of Himalaya this is a track for you :)
Energetic trance track
A fresh 2008 production in the shape of an uplifting trance / dance track. Looking for female vocalist for Vocal Remix. (320kbps)
Darker trance / techno with new clubby screws and twirls and an offbeat in the epicenter :) Brings back memories to 'Seven Times'. (320kbps)
A remix of the C64 SID track 'The Fallen' by Dwayne Bakewell (Morbid) - SID database and hundreds of remixes available at http://remix.kwed.org/
Imphenzia side project - while new trance is cooking this new age track made it through my sequencer.
Very melodic electronic tune - different from most other Imphenzia tracks and influenced by the melodies of Ayla.
Very unconventional combination of Trance and Chill Out in the same mix.
Reverbed trance with a steady pounding beat and slow transforamations.
Seven and a half minutes of slowly transforming, pounding trance layered with gated pads.
Daydreamer reborn in a new clubby fashion featuring vocals by Sarah M.
Extreme club atmosphere! - again influenced by some of the gods of club trance. This track, like Himalaya, has some of the best combinations of anthem trance and very smooth and calm sections. A must hear track =)
Lives up to the Club Trance tag, filling you with an amazing combination leads, pads and strings! This track shows off the raw power of the Pulsar II sound card and the pad layers of the CS6R!
