Calico Smoke

Born January 1, 1975 in Shreveport, Louisiana H. Carpenter aka Calico Smoke.

A multi-talented artist/producer, Calico has a very wide genre and can produce anything from

a banging' hard core hip-hop beat to a cold R&B track.

Calico with his flo', is Dirty south style all the way although his beats reflect versatility. Calico

doesn't limit himself or see things one dimensional. He has been playing keyboards and

playing by ear since age 10 also singing in school and church choirs.

Calico's biggest influences are Dr. Dre, timberland and Dj Quick. Although he is inspired by all

good music.

Calico truly believes Hip-hop is a way of life "it's a job, it's a hobby, it's a therapy and

sometimes a headache but it's the best though" it's evident in Calico's beats that he truly

feels the music he makes.
