I am a home recording enthusiast.
Using sequencers, electric and acoustic guitars, and bass, I enjoy putting tunes together that sound good to me. If others get something out of it as well, God Bless..
Why this name?
Rip Limit is made up of my initials plus the name of my highschool band many years ago.
Do you play live?
No, I truly enjoy music recording and mastering as a hobby at home.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The changes are huge, and if properly regulated should benefit all
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No such ambition
Your influences?
The enduring rock sounds from the 60s and 70s onwards are something I never get tired of. Early Blackmore, Vai, Satriani, and Australian acoustic giant Tommy Emmanuel are my biggest Influences
Equipment used:
Marshall amp, Reason sequencer, Yamaha pacifica and Maton Guitars. Boss GT6 sound fx, and N-Track studio multitrack recorder.
