First of all, I would like to introduce myself...
My name is Stephen “LeeAndrew” Bray. I was born January 27th, 1984 in Dalton, GA. I'm a Georgia native, Christian, husband, daddy, U.S. Army Soldier, full time student, musician and performing songwriter...wheeew....busy, busy!!! I am married to Amanda Diane Craig, the most wonderful woman in the world, or at least in my world.

I am the proud parent of two beautiful boys...a six year old and a one year old and I really enjoy writing and playing music...Oh did I mention that I LOVE writing and playing music...lol...(It's okay to laugh...Really!!!)

I've played guitar for thirteen years and written songs for eleven of those years. I've played in numerous bands and varying styles of music. I used to be a member of the Southern Limits Band and Babe's Bayou from the Atlanta, Georgia area. (You can catch Babe's Bayou on YouTube). I've shared the stage with artists such as the USO's Band of the Year..."CatchPenny" from Minneapolis, MN...Country artists such as Buddy Jewell, Gene Watson, Rhonda Vincent, Charlie Daniel's Band, Southern Rock giants Lynyrd Skynyrd, and members of Gretchen Wilson's band.

So here it is...My first step is to record the best album that I am possibly capable of and to create songs that people can relate to and feel...just as if they were in my shoes. My ultimate goal is to become a successful, signed songwriter and get my songs recorded by major artists played on mainstream radio. I would love to write professionally and make a full time career out of songwriting soon but wherever this road leads is where I'll end up. I write, perform, produce, and record all of my own music and I'm always open for something new and different such as collaborations or cowrites, etc. If you're interested in recording one of my songs or co-writing...just use the "Contact" tab to the left...I will personally email you back!!!

Here's a little resume`...

I was chosen as the Georgia Country and Gospel Music Association's 2005 "Songwriter of the Year', “CD of the Year”, “Male Entertainer of the Year”, the 2006 "Horizon Award Winner" and the North American Country Music Association International's 2006 & 2007 “Male Entertainer of the Year”. I then deployed to Balad, Iraq to do my part to fight for our freedom that we all take for granted with the United States Army.

Being enlisted in the Army, I have performed at Ft. Knox Kentucky, Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri, Missouri's Iowa Chapel, Ft. Lewis, Washington, Joint Base Balad, Iraq from 2009 - 2010, Kuwait, and all around the southeast United States.

I recently returned to the United States from Iraq and I'm ready to start writing and recording again. I plan to do an album release party with a short tour in the Fall of 2011 whenever I release my debut singer/songwriter album “Just Drive”. The album will be available in late 2011, (I'm shooting for Sep/Oct) and it will be a mixture of Modern Contemporary/Traditional Country, Gospel, Contemporary Christian, Bluegrass, and Blues styles. I look forward to meeting new people and networking to further my career in the music business as a songwriter/performer and to help others achieve new heights. I'm all about the song of life that we all live and lending a hand...I've had three songs cut on the Atlanta, GA based Babe's Bayou Band’s album "In the Blink of an Eye", which sold over 1,200 copies since its independent release in 2009. I've also written several songs for other artists such as the Southern Limits Band, (which are now doing Country Gospel..."The Glorybound Travelers"...Check out their website on my links page.

Thanks for the opportunity that you have given to me and for lending me your eyes and ears!!!!

God bless!!!

-LeeAndrew

Why this name?
The name "Lee" came from my mother's dad and the name "Andrew" came from my father's dad. Therefore I got the best of both worlds...lol
Do you play live?
I love to play live as much as being in the studio. I'm a songwriter, currently after a better publishing deal.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is an incredible way for unsigned artists to network and promote themselves when no one else will listen.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure. In fact, I believe that's what we're all working to acheive.
Band History:
I've played acoustic/electric guitar in several bands until I went on my own writing and performing Country, Bluegrass, and Christian music.
Your influences?
Jesus Christ, my Lord and savior.
Chris Daughtry, Chris Cagle, Garth Brooks, Jeremy Camp, John Rich, Jason Aldean, Kirk Franklin, Anthony Evans, Sam Tate, Jeffrey Steele, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
