Ninth House is a NYC "cemetery western" band that plays a distinctive blend of gothic rock, alt-country and folk, managing to blend influences as varied as The Cure and Johnny Cash to produce a haunting and unforgettable sound.
Band History:

Ninth House was created in 1998 by singer/songwriter Mark Sinnis (bass, vocals) following the ten year run of his previous band, Apostates. Ninth House also features former Apostates drummer Francis Xavier and Zach plays guitar. Ninth House has two full length CDs to date. The first release, “Swim In The Silence” featured the single “Injury Home” which appeared on the Fox TV show "ANGEL."

In 2005, the band released their 2nd album, "The Eye That Refuses to Blink," which features impressive renderings of 2 classic 80s tracks, "The Ghost in You" and "Send Me an Angel," along with a guest vocal appearance on the gothic anthem "Forsaken Psalm" by goth icon, Voltaire.

Ninth House remains active playing the New York City gothic circuit (including many appearances at the legendary CBGBs) and have built a devoted following.

The band's 3rd full-length release, "Realize and It's Gone," will be out on SINister Records in June 2007! Preview tracks from the CD are available now on our SoundClick music page.
