Eli Seals, "The smoothest voice in Country music" is the driving force behind Eli Seals and his band Alibi, a rocking country group out of Frankinton Louisiana. The five piece band writes, records and performs their original music throughout the Southern United States.
Our original music is incredibly popular throughout the South, and is requested over and over at every one of our live performances. Just listen and you'll understand.
Eli's voice has a range and texture that is rare in any style of music these days. Just listen and you'll understand.
The band is loaded with talent that compliments Eli's songwriting and vocal skills perfectly. Just listen and you'll understand.
Why this name?
Eli is the heart and soul of this group.
Do you play live?
Yes. Everywhere we can. It is our favorite thing to do.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows artists that may not be "Connected" to be discovered and share their incredible talents with fans who without the internet, would not ever hear their music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but it would have to be the "Right" contract.
Your influences?
We all come from different backgrounds, so all of those backgrounds work their way into the music. But fans of Alan Jackson, George Strait, Dierks Bentley etc.. will enjoy us the most.
Favorite spot?
The one we're playing in at the time!
Equipment used:
Fender Guitars, Takemine Guitars, Mesa Boogie Amps, Shure wireless, Pearl Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Audix Mics, Fender Bass, Rain Steel Guitars.
Anything else...?
Our first CD is available. Listen to the songs here. If you like what you hear, pick one up. The first song from our second release has now been released to worldwide radio. Father's Touch was released in July of 2009.
