Why this name?
I'm one of those people who could hear, see, taste, touch any piece of work of art and automatically know what to critique about it especially involving Music. Which is where my name derives from. My view is to change things for the better and the radio music today could definitely use some fine tuning.
Do you play live?
I use to play live a lot more when i was first starting out but with work in school it has been a hassle to get booked for any shows. When i did do them, I played anywhere i could. Yes, there were special moments seeing the crowd before and after i performed. I love the Adrenaline rush from the whole thing.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Like they say as long as someone is making the music, someone will hear it. It just so happens we got that technology to make it happen right over the Net.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends, If they allow me to discuss the subjects of music i use today and don't try to push on the money, thug, drug, sex shit. Then I would definitely consider the offer throughly.
Band History:
I started doing music in 2003, Still in Middle school. I wrote poetry then, and even entered some of my criteria into contest. About 2 years after that, i was getting older and more advanced into my work. I started doing and listening to rap music. Yes, the radio garbage that back then, I thought was the best music there was. Later down the road i learned that lyricism became such a big factor to me that i strived to enhance that by learning four to five syllable words, and I started changing what i talked about. Which made me hate the radio. It started me on listening to Underground music, which is where i found my Passion for doing this. Who knows where I'll be 5 years from now but as it stands this is what i want to do.
Your influences?
Gangstarr is probably one of my biggest influences being that he was the one who really got me started into Underground Rap, There are others though, Eminem, Classified, Atmosphere, and B.O.B.
Favorite spot?
Well I haven't really been anywhere other than Tampa, Fl. Sure i've visited some other spots but not enough to really grow a comfort level for it like i do here.
Equipment used:
An Apple Laptop, with Garage Band, A Blue Snowball Mic and Some Cheap Head Phones. Anyone can do it, But having the best tools really can enhance your music though.
Anything else...?
As Far as Becoming some huge star which would be awesome, but i mean, even if i just had the chance to write for people and make a living doing that I think that would be pretty decent as well. Don't get me wrong I do want my career to be in writing music or performing it and if i can't make it for some reason, I still would want to be doing it some other way.
