Blues-based funky folk-rock, recorded with a 4-track recorder in my basement. I like my music raw and uncluttered, with lots of open space and contrast, and to be honest, my songs would be even simpler if I could manage it.

Blues, especially the old raw stuff...Lightning Hopkins, HoundDog Taylor, R.L. Burnside, SeaSick Steve, Black Keys...
Equipment used:
Fender '52AVRI Telecaster (special edition thin-skin) straight into a Fender Deluxe Reverb I built. A Boss RC-2 Looper is used on some songs for backing/drums. Newer songs are with a Les Paul Traditional into a Hughes and Kettner 5W Tubemeister Head and Weber Vintage Alnico 10" speaker.
