AlanFunk hail from Cape Town South Africa.
The band was formed in September 2005, the music is
an exciting blend of African , Funk , Jazz with subtle rock overtones.
AlanFunk have played all over Cape Town including : Jazz on the Rocks ,Mannenburgs Jzz Cafe, Company Gardens opening of the lights, Gummeratti, Mzoli’s Place, Waterfront Ampitheatre and at many night clubs club in Cape Town .
The band is about to launch it’s first self titled CD on May 12 at Zula Sound Bar on Long Street.
AlanFunk are planning to do there first tour in June/July which willl take them up the Garden Route and along the Wild Coast.
