He is a ex sailor, a mercantile marine officer who turned designer/writer/artist/ photgrapher and runs his own advertising/events agency TrumpIt. He is a versatile singer/performer with a repetoire that spans classical to jazz to rock and played the lead in the staged version of West Side Story.

A radio jockey, he hosts a jazz and blues show on FM, and has conceptualised and runs OPUS a a food, music and art space that has staged some of the best indian and international acts.
