AUTUMN SPRINGS is a Belgian collective of enthusiastic people with a profound love of intensely ass-kicking, though at the same time gentle, music. They have a good ear for catchy melodies and always seek to create very intense atmospheres to bring the listener in a most peculiar mood... and apart from that, they want to ROCK YOUR SOCKS OFF! They are still looking for a second guitarist to close the ranks.
Why this name?
It's the first thing that came to our heads, and it just so happened to be:
The best name in the wooooorld. It was the best name in the wooorld ;).

AUTUMN SPRINGS
Do you play live?
In the future, most certainly we will play live again :)!
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Heavily, both in a negative and a positive manner. Explaining that would take me a long time, so...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends. All is relative, y'know?
Band History:
We've been playing raw, grungy rock since 1999. After five-six years of playing, there was a period of inactivity (2 years of NOTHING!). But now, we are here again, renewed, matured and full of energy. Our influences are now much more diverse, including metal of all kinds, stoner/grunge and postrock.
At the moment, Autumn Springs consists of three passionate musicians, but it is to be expected that more will join the band. At least one second guitarist will be added in the future (we are still searching for the right man/woman).
Your influences?
Metal, Stoner, Postrock, Sludge, Grunge, Progrock, Progmetal, Psychedelica, 70's rock/metal and even 80's music!
Equipment used:
Gibson guitars, Fender Guitars, MusicMan bass guitars, Marshall amps, Hughes&Kettner amps, Boss guitar fx, Roland V-drums, Tama Drums and other stuff...
Anything else...?
We are currently in the "restart"-phase, playing again after two years of inactivity, this time with a new and ass-kicking drummer.
