Band History:
ChxllSeeker is a band and a DVD label. Like a record label except producing DVDs.
Signing artists who (with help from the ChxllSeeker team) create the music and visual material for their own DVD releases, to be marketed to the now 100,000,000 people who have a 5.1 surround sound home entertainment system in their living room.
"The most exiting element is to explore music in surround sound. 5.1 mixes on DVD allow us the opportunity to hear music in a completely different way".
Merv de Peyer and Scott Maslen created the ChxllSeeker label and produced their first DVD release "Tapping into the Orgone". A jazz chill-out 5.1 audio visual album demonstrating the potential of surround sound on DVD.
Although a lot of energy was directed to producing the stunning visual content, it's really the surround sound music that offers something unique. Merv recommends the first time someone plays "Tapping into the Orgone" that they turn off the picture, close their eyes and just listen. Anyone who owns a 5.1 system will be amazed at the difference between the stereo and 5.1 mixes.
