I am Xquizitebeats. I produce music and have been doing so for about 6 years. I am currently the only member of my band but I work with other producers as well. My music styles range from Hip Hop to R & B to Dirty south Hip Hop to film music some dancehall and some experimental music like electronica. So as you can see, I am very eclectic and diverse in my taste and production. I invite fans and haters alike, to criticize and or complement my music. Why this name?

I am very detail oriented and I like to make sure my craft is well executed. I take pride in being good at what I do and always strive to deliver the best product to my customers. In other words, I strive to be excellent at what I do and thus the name xquizitebeats.

Do you play live?

No, not really. I arrange music and put concepts together. I play drums and I can play you a mean session.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The internet has made it possible for a lot of unheard-of artists and producers able to put their product out there, get reviewed or even get deals-(you know about Sean Kingston and myspace?). The internet is a great tool and has expanded the music industry by getting more musicians involved. It also passes on knowledge and creativity.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes but it depends on the terms of agreement. If I am better off independent I would stay independent.

Your influences?

I listen to classical music, some rock and alternative, a little bit of jazz, dancehall, reggae, carribean and african music. And of course hip hop and R&B. Some of my favorite producers are J.R Rotem, Timbaland, Needlz, Dr. Dre and Jermaine Dupri (Sorry for y'all who don't like him, but I do).

Anything else...?

I am versatile! A lot of producers only do one style of music, but I will give you a dirty-south banger then turn around and give you a west coast anthem then serenade the ladies with a smooth R&B track. I might surprise you with an out-of-the-box beat thats a mixture of electronica and hip-hop and house music. It all depends on my mood and which way it swings. Either way, I am guaranteed to give you an "xquizitebeat"
