Why this name?
Novae is a variation on my real name, combining the plural for "Nova" or an exploding star, and the Latin term for "New".
Do you play live?
I live to play live... there is nothing better to get the blood going than a sea of faces looking back at you.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think it is an easy (albeit free) way for people to expand their horizons and learn about us less-than-mainstream fighters. ;)
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Truly depends on the stipulations of the contract. Expression is one of the rawest forms of freedom. I couldn't risk losing my right to it just for a contract.
Your influences?
It's almost like Ben Folds met up with Rufus Wainwright and Gavin Degraw at a dark bar and toasted to life and love.
