My technique is laughable at times. I have developed a style of my own, I suppose, which creeps around. I don't have to have too much technique for it. I've developed the parts of my technique that are useful to me. I'll never be a very fast player. I don't really know what to say about my style. There's always a melodic intent in there.
I'm a producer /engineer and songwriter. I use Pro Tools and Steinberg exclusively, for most of my recordings needs! I've also taught guitar and synthesizer theory. I've won numerous awards at the American Guild of Music and have attended the National Conservatory of Music. Each piece of music created is epic in its construction. Each passage offers the listener deeply layered textures punctuated with melody and beauty. Some have called my style of music.. "soundtrack" perhaps these moments of musicality are just that.. but for the listener.. in the privacy of their own mind.. they opportune to watch the visions of their own creations ... so if this be what it is.. then these songs are music for the movies of the mind.
A very special thank you to some of the various and extremely talented people that have appeared on my works:
Special appearances by KED, Dazed, KOR, Michael Nunley, Warren Peece, Robert Smith, Peter Mercer, RWK, Gina, Wherewolf, Budrumming, Luke Davison, Neil, Rob Grant, Gary Powers, Chris Moore, Kephas, Chris Georgiou. CSK, Peter Tamdog.

Groovin' bass really gives hip to this progressive song. I liked the vocal reverb, goes well with the synth and guitar. Nice break at the 3:16 point. Well arranged, performed, and produced - congrats Gabe, Kephas, and Chris!

Very nice stuff. I agree with Augustina that the last minute really sets it apart; the treacly emotion of the first movement is balanced very nicely by the intelligence and sophistication of the orchestration in the last movement. And I must add that Chris has a truly lovely voice.

Hey You with Chris Moore...
That's the thing about you Gabriel, whatever style you turn your hands to just ALWAYS ends up as a shining example of how to do it.
I have also noted over the, what must be years now, just how deep your knowledge of music, recording, mastering and technology is,and add to that in all those years I have never once seen you be anything but generous, kind and ever helpful to everyone else.
Simply a beautiful song mate

Beautifull, pretty soundcape, great mix, well thought out production. Love the change, It kind of reminds me of Roxy music with those Manzenera type guitars going on. Class me now as a fan and I will listen to allot more of your tracks in the future.

Hey Michael!
Yeah, Eno played a major influence on me in the 70s. I'm thinking he's refering to orthographic projection, which are parallel lines of the source object producing similar lines in the projected sound.
The protuberance in oblique projection, interconnect the projection plane at an oblique angle, which in turn produces the projected sound.
In more simple terms, he is refering to music in 3D (very geometrical). Brian Eno did in fact grandfather in ambient music. He was the 1st producer to put a 3rd monitor behind him giving a surround sound type of effect. A very interesting producer and a trailblazer in many areas.

Hi Gabriel--I heard an extensive interview with Brian Eno this a.m., and it brought this piece to mind--so layered & cellular, really excellent on so many levels, a real pleasure to hear. He mentioned his use of his Oblique Strategies--are you familiar with them?
Cheers my friend,
