Hello, my name is Mark M., and I would like to welcome you to my webpage for my project Transcend with Time. If you enjoy New Age/Ambient music with a Progressive twist, I hope you can give my songs a listen.
Why this name?
I came up with the name Transcend with Time because I believe my music helps calm the mind.
Do you play live?
At the moment, I do not play live events.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I believe the internet has changed the music industry greatly. For one, it allows independent artist like myself to present our music to the masses.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, as long as I would have creative control over my music.
Band History:
I started this project in 2006, with the intention to create a side project to my Progressive Rock project Subject to Thoughts. On 2006, I released "A Voice of Calmness" & on November 2007, I released "Reflections of the Soul." On October 2008, I released my new CD entitled "Through Memory's Perception." This new CD is about trying to overcome life's struggles. It contains 10 songs with a running time of over 60 minutes.
Your influences?
My main musical influences are Dream Theater, Symphony X, David Arkenstone & Jon O' Bergh. So expect a mix of New Age/Ambient music with a Dark Progressive twist.
