Now living in Stafford, I'm a solo acoustic blues player and employee in the world's best loved chain of coffee houses. After playing harmonica in a number of not-terribly-good bands in the hotbed of live music that was rural mid-wiltshire in the 1990s (no really!) I spent a year working my way around Australia, went to University and somewhere along the way went from playing chicago-style blues harmonica to Son House inspired slide guitar.
I also sing and play guitar and harmonica in the electric blues group .44 pistol On Soundclick On myspace

Why this name?
It's my real name, I'm just not creative enough to use a stage name.
Do you play live?
I host the open mic & Jam every thursday at Joxer Brady's in Stafford town centre.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's allowed unsigned and non-mainstream acts to get their music out in a big way, which could never happen through commercial radio.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Probably in the blink of an eye. Are they ever likely to send me an offer? Probably not.
Your influences?
R.L. Burnside, Son House, The Hoax, The White Stripes, Robert Belfour, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, My Dad, Kelly Joe Phelps, Rocco DeLuca, John Butler, Skip James, Papa Mojo, T-Model Ford, Blind Willie Johnson, Fred McDowell, and many many others..
Equipment used:
A korean resonator, a brass slide and a thumbpick. Various bits of silly percussion: stompbox, washboard, shakers, tambourines and the rest.
