Breakdown started out in August 2006. A group of 3 young musicians getting together originally for a one-off event. When that event went so well & hearing loads of great audience feedback they decided to make it a more permanent thing & Breakdown was born. Having put together a short set of rock covers such as Whole Lotta Rosie & Highway To Hell by AC/DC, Enter Sandman by Metallica, they set about writing their own material & their first 3 self-penned tracks Right Or Wrong, All You Want & Used To Be was the excellent result.
Do you play live?
Yes, the band was born out of an amazing live performance at a one-off event & all subsequent gigs have been well-received. The band plays in & around its' native Manchester area (England).
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives a band like Breakdown the clear opportunity to reach many people with its' music...got to be good!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
You bet!
