Peace This is Freddy aka Reaper aka Piff Robinson of MAKESHIFT DELUXE!! 3 MC's and 1 DJ outta Frederick, MD, (Freddy, J-Berd, One Ton and DJ Minus 9) 2007 is gonna be the year for Makeshift b/c there will be solo albums dropped by Freddy w/ a special feature TBA..also a brand new Makeshift Deluxe album w/ an appearence from Tragedy Khadafi- The Intelligent Hoodlum himself, and more. Minus 9 will be droppin a follow up Mixtape album to "Keep it Gully" called "State of Crates: Dig Deeper" w/ appearences from some of the biggest names in hip-hop. Do you play live?
For Sho! Makeshift Deluxe is "show to show on a daily basis!" we do shows as much as possible..mainly in B-MORE! one of my favorite shows would have to be the first show I did as a member or Makeshift w/ J-Berd @ The Brass Monkey in Baltimore and we destroyed it and left everyone in there stunned..afterwards we got crazy props from every cat in there. it was ill
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think its changed it in a big way, it allows alot of undergorund cats to let there music be heard and sold and shared without tryin to be in the limelight of this watered down fake ass hip-hop industry.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
