Opens up new doors for exposure and helps pull the pants down off of know-it-all executives in the studios.

Yes.
Band History:
I have been composing and playing music for over 17 years, although I composed primarily for the piano up to last year when I bought my Pro Tools / Gigastudio system.
Your influences?
Classical Film Score sound, hopefully. I'm learning more and more about the software and trying to get all of my ideas out of my head and into the system. Major influences include Danny Elfman, Jerry Goldsmith, Hans Zimmer.
Favorite spot?
I love Hawaii, the rainforests in Oahu are amazing. Japan is awesome also.
