Distream was formerly called "Thorn" but we had to change the name because there was another band with this name which was far more famouse than we were, so we decided to choose another bandname.

We play live about 2 times each month in the average and most times for a crowd of about 150 to 500 people.

The internet and mp3-files in special are a good chance for young bands without a record deal to promote and distribute their material.

If there was a interesed label actually we would, but I really don't think a major label would be interested in our kind of music :-)

To much bands to mention them all by their name... in general one could say we were influenced by a lot of thrash-, death- and heavy metal bands from the late 80s, the 90s and even those of today.

We like to travel around a lot, but the best place to go is always home ;-)
